“You will become part of the ASC (Agriculture, Sustainability & Communication) Agile Release Train where you will be involved in building software platforms and digital solutions. Additionally, you will support the Release Train Architect, assisting in ensuring the architectural roadmap for ASC and continuously develop our ways of working and guiding principles.” Says Senior Manager, Andreas Toft Jacobsen

How you will make an impact
You will be responsible for the solutions in the area of CSR reporting, Product Carbon Footprint and Product Environmental Footprint and Sustainability reporting and forecasting. This includes the Epics and the IT landscape in the area, as well as how the solutions are integrated to other systems and solutions. Here, you will understand diverse business needs, whilst demonstrating strong solution insight and be able to set the technical direction. You will likewise introduce new IT platforms and solutions, ensuring alignment with target architectures and overseeing the necessary activities to keep technologies and platforms up to date.

Further, your responsibility includes:

• End-to-end architectural responsible for epics, the IT landscape, advisory and solutions
• Maintaining the overview of IT landscape and technical dependencies
• Maintaining the architecture runway, including legacy overview and incorporation of sunsetting
• Breaking down and estimate complex epics to features and features to stories enabling effective collaboration within agile teams
• Understanding the architectural disciplines including knowledge of cost/benefit, data management, integration, UX, operational requirements, and IT security

What will make you successful

The ideal candidate has experience with the agile culture and mindset. You are focused and persistent on achieving goals in great collaboration with the agile team, Product Owner, Release Train Architect, Solution Consultants and key stakeholders. You communicate clearly and efficiently with business and IT stakeholders across most organizational levels as well as convert complex technical contents into easy understood messages. By means of your strong cooperation skills, you act as a trusted advisor to ensure that Arla gets maximum value from the solutions. You will be working within a complex stakeholder environment, spanning different cultures. Thus, you have great facilitation skills and enjoy engaging with people of different cultures and from various backgrounds. Further, we expect that you have:

• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role and you have a proven track record of succeeding being part of delivering digital solutions
• Education at Master’s level within Information Systems, Computer Science or similar
• Knowledge in solution development, integration and business intelligence
• Broad technical understanding of cloud, infrastructure and operation
• Deep understanding of integration technologies, APIs and how to integrate standard solutions
• Deep understanding of databases and big data related technologies, such as SQL, Data lakes, ETL pipelines, Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks
• Experience in delivering sustainability solutions and solid understanding of Product Carbon Footprint and Product Environmental Methodology
