V.I.E - Product Analyst

The cluster Northern European Countries (NEC) gather Benelux, and the Nordic Countries ; very dynamic and various zone selling gas and services to industrial customers (food, …). The Product Management team includes teammates in the Nordics countries, UK and Benelux. Your primary focus will be the Nordic countries.

At Air Liquide, Product Management is one of the most important departments, connecting markets and operations to drive profitable growth in Industrial Merchant activities while facing significant evolutions in our way of working (Energy transition, Digital transformation.)

Presentation of the Team:

The NEC Product Management team includes10 members which diversity & engagement makes a very dynamic team, sharing best practice within the UK, Benelux or the Nordic countries to improve product revenues, profitability
You will report to the Nordic Product Manager based in Copenhagen covering the 4 Nordics countries.

1. Profitability analysis
As a Product Analyst, you will be asked to analyze our Profit and Loss (P&L) per product range, explain trends and make concrete suggestions to improve our Profit ratios.

2. Optimize the Packages Gases (PG) Product Portfolio
In parallel to profitability analysis, the Product Analyst will be responsible to optimize the Product Portfolio: By using internal tools developed by AL Group the product analyst will drive the rationalization to the next level by optimizing the number of references in our PG catalog.

3. Competitive Intelligence
You will also have the responsibility to gather, analyze and use information collected on competitors and other market factors to help Air Liquide understand its competitive environment and the opportunities and challenges it presents.

4. Support Product Manager
Finally, the Product Analyst is expected to help the Product Manager on an Ad-hoc basis with strategic projects bringing value to the whole organization.

Are you a MATCH?
Candidate Education:

• Engineering background (Operation/Supply Chain/Business/Data modelization)
• GMAT > 650

Mindset:

• Digital | Able to learn new tool/Software, seek to optimize the usage of the IT tools
• Analytical | Methodic and rigorous, comfortable with numbers, data driven
• Synthetic | Ability to simplify complex problems into simple terms/model
• High value thinker | Critical, strategic and value thinker

Plus, previous experience:

• Product Management, Controlling or project management
• Power BI, G-Suite
• SAP (Profile Operations or Purchasing)
• Move can be expected ; driving license most likely necessary

Expected work experience :

• 1-2 years of work experience

Languages required:

• English is mandatory
• French will be considered an asset
• Other (please mention)

Position based in Hvidøvre, Denmark for an initial period of 12 months, extendable once.
