About the job
Service in Business Unit Energy Separation has high priority with a clear growth strategy and focus on improving the customer experience. We now need to strengthen our central team with an additional resource, and this is why we are looking for YOU are next Senior Product Engineer
As a Senior Product Engineer, you play a crucial role in advancing our customer experience.
Your key tasks will be:
- Support and execute FAT and commissioning of new installations.
- Expert troubleshooting on HSS & Decanters installations.
- Training of sales company field service engineers and customers.
- Be part of development and execution of new services for HSS & Decanters.
- Install & commission control system upgrades and condition alert systems.
- Technical support for HSS (Remote support, helpdesk, claim investigations etc.)
- Work in close co-operation with the entire central BU organization.
- Frequent contacts with our sales companies and directly with customers regarding technical support, commissioning, and product training.
The position involves a large amount of travelling (approx. 140 days / year) sometimes on short notice.
Who you are
We are seeking a strong team player who is also capable of working independently. The ideal candidate will be service-minded and customer-focused, with the ability to easily form contacts in a global environment. Flexibility and excellent communication skills are essential qualities for this role.
What you know
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the energy industry and hold a master’s degree in engineering, specifically in mechanical and electrical fields. We trust you have experience with commissioning work and Siemens PLCs. Additionally, excellent verbal and written English communication skills at a professional level are required. Good knowledge of French and Spanish can be a plus.
