Position Overview:
As Wirtek navigates through strategic growth and global expansion, we seek a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO), with hands-on experience, to join our executive team and lead our financial operations globally. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, strategic planning, and investor relations. This role requires a visionary leader capable of driving financial success and aligning financial strategies with the company’s ambitious growth objectives.
As the Chief Financial Officer, you will work closely with the executive management team, playing a key role in shaping the future strategic direction of the company. This collaboration offers a unique opportunity to influence major business decisions and drive transformative growth initiatives.
Strategic Financial Leadership:
- Develop and implement strong financial strategies aligned with Wirtek's business goals and global growth plans, ensuring a continued strong financial position of Wirtek.
- Collaborate with the executive management team and Board of Directors to shape the company’s strategic direction with aligned financial reporting and planning.
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Hands-on financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Provide insightful and actionable analysis to support decision-making across the company group.
Investor Relations and Reporting:
- Lead and participate in the preparation and presentation of financial and non-financial reports to the Board, to investors, and to regulatory bodies.
- Participate in investor roadshows and strategic presentations, articulating the company’s financial health and growth potential to attract and retain investors.
- Enhance relationships with investors and stakeholders through transparent communication and effective financial and non-financial reporting.
- Participate in the development and execution of a comprehensive investor relations strategy, leveraging both traditional and digital platforms to foster transparent and proactive communication with shareholders and potential investors.
- Collaborate with marketing and PR to enhance Wirtek's market positioning and investor confidence, ensuring alignment between financial performance and market messaging.
Operational Efficiency and Cost Management:
- Drive financial optimization across the organization.
- Ensure efficient financial processes and systems to support global operations and business scalability.
- Establish and monitor financial KPIs to track strategic progress and drive accountability across the organization.
Risk Management and Compliance:
- Oversee compliance with fiscal regulations and corporate governance standards.
- Ensure robust risk management practices and internal controls are in place and effective.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor the finance team across multiple locations, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the company’s strategic objectives and enhance financial performance.
Sustainability ESG and Digital Initiatives:
- Champion CSR and ESG initiatives, integrating sound principles into financial strategies to support long-term value creation.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives within the finance function to enhance data accuracy, process efficiency, and real-time decision-making capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. MBA or CPA/CFA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on financial experience, with at least 5 years in a CFO role.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, financial analysis, and global financial operations.
- Strong strategic and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Excellent English oral and written communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with investors, stakeholders, and team members.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and drive change in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles, regulatory requirements and experience with mergers and acquisitions.
