Senior Network Consultant

We are searching for a skilled engineer with senior-level experience in general network switching and routing, as well as ISE, D-NAC, and/or FW domain capabilities. Your primary duty in this role will be to oversee, direct, and carry out projects for our clients. We are searching for someone who has a strong interest in network technology and is ready to contribute significantly to the project delivery work that we do for our customer base. The role also includes supporting operation teams and troubleshooting difficult problems.
Your Responsibilities
- Planning, driving and execution of technical project tasks and consulting project activities including customer advisory
- Onboarding new customers through transition & transformation projects
- Hand-overs to operations with hyper-care period including documentation preparation
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including network operation engineers, project managers and architects to deliver integrated solutions
- Paricipation on complex issues troubleshooting as well as technical support on Major incidents
Your Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum five years of experience in switching and routing area on senior level with verifiable hands-on experience at Cisco domain minimally on CCNP level, ideally with experience in other technologies e.g. Juniper switching and routing
- Proven experience in Service delivery area (projects deployment, migrations)
- Strong understanding of network concepts and best practices. Knowledge of ITIL concept
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyse and resolve complex network issues
- Excellent communication and organization skills
It is advantage to have one or more of additional knowledge
- WIFI (Meraki) & Cisco ISE, DMPVN implementation, site-to-site VPN
- Firepower, Palo alto (NextGEN Firewalls), CCNP Security certification
- Automation (Python, Ansible, etc.)
- Any kind of software-defined network (Cisco DNA, SD-WAN, ACI)
