Operations and Asset Management Consultant

We are seeking an Operations and Asset Management Consultant to join our team in Europe. In this role, you will be anchored in, and play a vital role towards, our Asset Management business unit contributing to our continuously expanding global portfolio with a focus on areas such as operations readiness & excellence, performance management, strategic initiatives, contract origination, sales, and much more.

Job content, responsibilities, and possibilities
Based in one of our offices in Europe you will be involved in contributing to, managing, and developing various aspects of our Asset Management business area alongside like-minded, talented colleagues. You will operate with a focus on supporting our existing and growing portfolio to ensure best-in-class performance, alongside driving strategic improvement initiatives to ensure the highest success as we expand into new technologies, regions, and markets.

More specifically, your areas of responsibility will be:

• Identifying, conceptualising, and executing strategic initiatives in Asset Management from project to global level.
• Leading and/or supporting the mobilisation and readiness of new projects coming under our managed portfolio, taking budget and overall management responsibility for the delivery team.
• Engaging with our project/regions, support functions, and external vendors to develop new practices, tools and systems that enhance the PEAK Wind Asset Management services.
• Developing new product offerings and, together with our sales function, driving and delivering RFPs/ITTs, and supporting the generation, origination, and negotiation of new Asset Management and Operations Management agreements.
• Provide consultancy and advisory support on various projects for our clients as an asset and operations management subject matter expert.

What you bring and your qualities
As an Operations and Asset Management Consultant, you preferably hold a commercial, technical, and/or financial education, with a strong aptitude for project management. Further qualifications are beneficial, combined with a flair for contractual topics. You should have 3-5 years of work experience within the renewables industry and ideally have been exposed to various aspects (e.g., procurement, engineering, commercial management) of wind projects and/or their stages, from which you have gained broad experience.

The ideal candidate has relevant experience combined with a proactive attitude, works well with different mindsets and stakeholders, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills are essential, along with the ability to build relations with various internal and external project stakeholders. You will be part of a motivated team with colleagues from different disciplines and parts of the world, ensuring high-quality deliverables for our international clients.
