We are searching for a C# software engineer (senior)
For this role, we are looking for someone to join Nykredit – one of the banks BEC Poland works closely with.
Nykredit is both a bank and a mortgage provider owned by an association of customers. Being customer-owned, they are in a unique position to give something back to their customers when they are doing well. Together they can simply do more for their customers and for society.
This position is based at our friendly office in Warsaw and you will join our Front Office Products team. The Wealth Technology area is in charge of delivering strategic and technical sparring in relation to business development.
The position offers a possibility for you to work on a new platform program with an intention of going full cloud, but also set the path of how we are to work in the future on both our current systems, but also all the new that are to come. At Nykredit, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely up to 8 days per month. Your direct manager will be Simon Gade
Primary task and responsibilities include:
- Mainly C# development and maintenance
- All the tasks part of developing and maintaining software (we build it, and we run it)
- The team must spend time to make their solutions maintainable, as well as building new solutions
- You are going to work close with competent Application architects, business analyst, data engineers who all will assist you in building the best solutions
- On some occasions you will be required to travel to the main office in Copenhagen, as well as you can expect to get a visit from your colleagues from Copenhagen at the office in Warsaw
To succeed you will have:
- A mature and responsible person, who are willing to take on responsibility of an engineer, not only a developer
- At least 5 years of experience with C#
- Insight into the common software principles (monolithic patterns, microservices, Clean architecture, design patterns in general)
- Hands-on experience with event-driven architecture and Kafka
- A curious mind with an open nature and desire to knowledge-share with others
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- A good understanding of how to work with RDBMS (we operate a lot on Oracle and MS SQL). And SQL in order for us to create the most optimal queries.
It’s nice-to-have:
- Experience in the banking sector and ideally Wealth/Capital markets domain
- Experience in working with teams on other locations (the closer to Danish culture the better)
- Knowledge of REST, Azure, microservices, Entity framework
- Experience with CI/CD, automated tests
