Your role and responsibilities
ABB Robotics is looking for a Robotics Production System (RPS) Leader to join our Operations team. RPS is our foundation for operational excellence to have a cost effective, waste free, efficient, flexible and innovative production system, leaning on the lean production principles (World Class Manufacturing). In continuing our impressive productivity improvement journey, ABB Robotics now need your help in leading and supporting the next steps of the implementation of our production system in our Swedish factory. To your support you will have an strongly motivated organization with the will to improve and with a “can do” attitude coupled with the organizational lean principles ownership within RPS. Reporting to the Manager Business Office, you will both be focusing on our production system in our current factory and how to prioritize the improvement journey to optimize our productivity in our new Robotics Campus Sweden. Robotics Campus Sweden is our new mega factory on +65 000 m2 in Västerås. We are seeking for a colleague, a RPS Leader, to play a key role in our productivity improvement journey. A colleague who thrives and gets energy from implementing, supporting, educating and helping our organization to improve. Lead the continued implementation of RPS in our Swedish factory Take responsibility, develop and lead the factory’s RPS implementation plan Support, train and develop the organization in what we jointly see as required and prioritized method and tools Plan and prepare for audits to safeguard the implementation and to share organizational victories Collaborate with other factories within ABB Robotics in sharing of best practices to ensure that everyone in the organization can benefit from the collective experience and knowledge

Qualifications for the role

• 3-5 years of experience as a production technician and/or production development
• A strong background from working with lean principles, method and tools including the concept of World Class Manufacturing and related pillars
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field or extensive comparable experience
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• A demonstrated "can-do" and “hands on” attitude to get things done
