Product owner

Aeven is looking for a strong Product Owner to help drive forward our Vulnerability Management and Patch Services. Vulnerability Management is key for business to be able to operate safely and with the NIS2 directive coming this will be “license to operate” for both Aeven and our customers. Vulnerability & Patch Management is ingrained into almost all IT services delivered by Aeven, and thus the role of Product Owner will have many stakeholders across the Aeven organization.

The product owner will be a focal point ensuring standardized approach to both services across Aeven, as well as defining new services to help Aevens customers overcome the many challenges imposed by the increasing security threats and regulatory requirements.

You will be working in multi-cultural and cross organizational team including members from all Aeven locations. Your ability to motivate people and build team spirit across team members with multiple priorities is key.

As a newly established company Aeven after the demerger from NNIT we are undergoing a transformation to update and strengthen our core processes. This provides great opportunity for you to help define how the Vulnerability & Patch Management governance and process should look like and we are looking forward to having a fresh view on how we do things.

Responsibilities:

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a focal point for various stakeholders across the Aeven organization, ensuring seamless alignment in implementing standardized approaches to Vulnerability and Patch Management.
• Strategic Vision: Define and execute the strategic vision for Vulnerability Management and Patch Services, integrating industry best practices and adapting to emerging security threats and regulatory landscapes.
• Team Dynamics: Work collaboratively in a multicultural, cross-organizational team, fostering team spirit, and motivation among members dealing with multiple priorities.
• Innovation and Service Expansion: Identify opportunities for enhancing existing services and introducing new ones, especially in the realm of Patch Management, to address the evolving security landscape.
• Governance and Process Enhancement: Actively contribute to Aeven's ongoing transformation by shaping Vulnerability and Patch Management governance and processes. Bring a fresh perspective to refining procedures and ensuring alignment with industry standards.
• Experience: Proven experience as a Product Owner, preferably in IT security or Vulnerability and Patch Management.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and motivational skills to foster collaboration among team members with diverse priorities.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders and articulate a clear vision for Vulnerability and Patch Services.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a dynamic organizational environment, contributing to the ongoing transformation of core processes.
• Innovative Thinking: Demonstrated ability to bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas, particularly in the realm of Patch Management.
