We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Senior Strategy Consultant to join our team in a newly established, individual contributor role. This pivotal position is designed to support the Senior Management Team (SMT) in orchestrating global strategic work and driving key initiatives that align with our organizational and business priorities at the executive level.

As a Senior Strategy Consultant, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company’s strategic direction by engaging in a wide range of responsibilities. These will include developing and refining strategic plans, leading project management efforts, and coordinating cross-functional activities to ensure the seamless execution of initiatives.

In this role, your ability to synthesize complex information, translate it into actionable strategies, and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization will be essential. We are looking for someone who is not only strategic and analytical but also collaborative and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and a passion for driving organizational success.

You will support initiatives including:
Develop and Refine Strategy:

  • Collaborate closely with the SMT to define, refine, and communicate the company's overall strategic vision and goals.
  • Analyse market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry dynamics to inform strategic decision-making and align the overall COP’s organizational strategy with regional and market-specific priorities.
  • Facilitate continuous assessment and development of COP’s scope and business areas.

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Lead the creation of detailed strategic plans, encompassing objectives, initiatives, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor and evaluate progress on strategic initiatives, making necessary adjustments to maintain alignment with overarching goals.

Performance Measurement:

  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of strategic initiatives.
  • Establish robust reporting mechanisms to provide regular updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work in close collaboration with regional, market, departmental, and functional leaders to ensure that operational efforts are aligned with the strategic plan.
  • Facilitate cross-functional teams to guarantee smooth and effective execution of strategic initiatives.

Change Management:

  • Lead change management efforts related to new strategic initiatives, ensuring their smooth adoption and integration across the organization.

Strategic Communication:

  • Develop compelling storylines and prepare presentation materials for SMT's strategic communications.
  • Ensure the communication of strategic initiatives is clear, concise, and impactful.

Coordination and Project Management:

  • Organize and facilitate SMT meetings, all-hands meetings, leadership meetings, and leadership offsites, including preparing agendas, gathering relevant materials, and ensuring meetings run efficiently.
  • Ensure timely sharing of relevant information and updates with the SMT.
  • Prepare high-quality materials and slide decks for meetings and presentations.

To succeed in this role, you have:

  • A solid academic foundation: A bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
  • A background in management consulting or a similar strategic role, demonstrating a proven track record in strategic planning, business development, or related fields. Proven track record in strategic planning, business development, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, enabling you to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.

  • Experience in project management, ensuring that strategic initiatives are effectively executed and deliver impactful results.
  • Change management and organizational development experience.
