Backend Developer/Team Architect - Digital Experience Hearing, Group IT
As an experienced Backend Developer (.NET) in Digital Experience Hearing, you will take part in securing futureproof solutions to lever the eCommerce & Digital agenda for our hearing aid business division.
You will join a team of highly qualified colleagues and apply your skills in defining, building, and maintaining modern online services.
As a seasoned developer your main responsibilities within your scrum team will be to deliver high quality code, and engage as team architect to e.g. support Product owner and Scrum master in technical refinements and planning.
The Team you will be part of
Positioned in our office in Warsaw, you will be part of one of the Digital Experience Hearing agile teams, alongside our solution architect, developers, product owner, test engineer and scrum master. Our department, spread across more locations, primarily Poland and Denmark, is at the forefront of crafting premium partner portals, CRM, web and e-commerce solutions that cater to our customers, internal sales, and marketing teams.
Group IT supports the entire GN Group, ensuring seamless management and evolution of our IT infrastructure. This is integral to our commitment to leading the technological shift in intelligent audio solutions.
Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:
- Be a member of a software development team
- Deliver code and primarily API based integrations for the software
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of backend systems.
- Support and mentor other developers on the team
- Explore and learn about new technologies and how they can be applied in GN’s current and future digital ecosystem
- Drive technical exploration of use cases
- Contribute to technical demos that are provided for business stakeholders as well as other technical teams
- Ensure alignment between business goals and technical implementation
- Support in refining and prioritizing technical tasks
- Conduct reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and code standards
- Collaborate with other architects to ensure consistency and coherence in the overall system architecture
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for the backend systems.
To succeed in the role, we imagine that you have:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technically related field (i.e., computer science, engineering, IT, etc.)
- 5 years or more of experience with hands-on back-end development using C#, .NET, Web APIs
- Experience working with Azure cloud and hybrid platforms, including production setup maintenance
- Familiarity with DevOps or similar tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with content management systems, like Sitecore, amplience or others is an advantage
- Understanding of the CDN systems
- Knowledge of build and deploy tools, microservices, and event-driven architecture
- Solid skills in communication (mainly in English) are necessary to clearly and effectively share complex information with tech peers and business stakeholders in a cross-cultural environment
- Strong agile mindset with experience working with Scrum or other agile frameworks
- Self-motivation and proactivity, excellent problem-solving skills, inquiring mind, interest in exploring new approaches and tools
Knowledge in these is an advantage:
- Salesforce
- SQL
- eCommerce applications
- .NET core
- Authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, Azure AD)
- Knowledge of integrating with third-party services and APIs (Rest API)
- Experience with unit testing frameworks like xUnit or NUnit
- Familiarity with integration testing and automated testing tools.
