Shipping Specialist

Position Summary:
This position will be reponsible for creating all required documents and providing to broker for export declarations of all shipping arrangements. You will be the main point of contact with freight forwarders, customers and intercompany movements. Responsible for import clearance and document creation for Carnet, CAD and L/C shipments.

Main Responsibilities:

• Create export declarations, packing lists, customs invoices as well as several other shipping documents for export shipments
• Arrange shipments for sea, air and road transport
• Contact and clearance with freight forwarders and customers/Intercompanies
• Import clearance
• Document creation for Carnet, CAD and L/C shipments

Professional Qualifications / Experience

• Relevant qualification in export/import/shipping/logistics/industrial clerk desirable
• Proven experience in a similar position dealing with both import & export of products
• Previous experience of Handling & Labelling of dangerous goods preferable
• Proficient with MS-Office applications and experience with SAP R3 or S4HANA
• Good written and oral communication skills
