About the role
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Junior Tester to join a dynamic team split between Copenhagen and Helsinki. In this exciting project, you will collaborate closely with developers, data analysts, and stakeholders, ensuring, amongst other things, smooth customer onboarding for complex products. You will also perform various testing and quality control tasks, including manual system testing, data reconciliations, and aggregations using Python. Basic SQL and Python skills are essential for data extraction and analysis. You will receive hands-on experience in a multi-functional team consisting of developers, data analysts, and testers. This is a great opportunity to grow your technical and analytical skills in a collaborative environment, as our client partners with major organizations in the insurance, banking, and finance sectors across Scandinavia.

Work tasks
Some of the work tasks in this role are the following:

• Manual System Testing: Perform manual system testing following defined procedures and methodologies to ensure the accurate functioning of platforms and software tools.
• Data Quality Control: Conduct data quality control testing, including reconciliations and data aggregations, using Python to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Issue Reporting and Resolution: Identify, report, and follow up on system issues, working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve root causes and improve system performance.
• System Change Implementation: Support the implementation of system changes by validating changes through thorough testing and ensuring smooth integration with existing platforms.
• Technical Data Analysis: Utilize SQL and Python for data extraction and analysis to support testing, monitor system performance, and ensure alignment with requirements.

We are looking for

• Someone who has experience in software testing, system change implementation, or a related role, with an understanding of testing processes and methodologies.
• Someone who possesses basic SQL and Python skills for data extraction, analysis, and quality control testing.
• Someone who is fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Someone who has strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Someone who is able to start ASAP and is located in Copenhagen, Denmark.

It is meritorious if you have

• Hands-on experience using SQL and Python for testing and data analysis.
• Fluency in Danish, both verbally and in writing.
