At Maersk Tankers, you can come as you are and be among people who will expand your horizon. As our new Front-end Developer, we do, however, expect that you can contribute with the following:

• Being a team player, focused on delivering results and prioritise a great user experience
• Having experience working both in a team of developers and individually
• Being updated on the latest front-end technologies and best practices

As a Front-end Developer at Maersk Tankers, you will:

• Work with our front-end tech stack, including React and TypeScript
• Collaborate closely with the designer and back-end developers in a cross-functional team
• Translate design mockups (made in Figma) into high-quality, maintainable code
• Develop and maintain our internal and external web-based user interfaces / tools
• Write automated tests (using Vitest and React Testing Library) to ensure code quality and reliability
• Optimize front-end performance for a seamless user experience
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment, sharing knowledge and supporting your colleagues

Are you part of the solution?
Experience with the following is beneficial, but not required:

• Tanstack query
• Graphql
• Auth0
• Developing mobile friendly responsive web interfaces
• Developing reusable web components

Your educational background is not that important if you have a structured mindset, a good understanding of how digital products are built, and you likely have a background within software development. As a developer, you are comfortable working with cross-functional teams and have a deep understanding of agile methodologies. We appreciate someone who has the ideal solution in mind but also knows when to take the pragmatic approach. We expect you to be a fairly independent developer who is able to take an idea and turn it into working code, but also very crucial that you are able to work in a team.

In addition to the above, you have:

• Experience from similar positions within development
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Great communication skills and are fluent in English
