The purpose of the Risk Management solution is to do an accurate real-time assessment of the risk of fraud on e-commerce payment transactions, whereas the objective of the Payment Conversion solution is to maximize the percentage of successfully completed payment attempts, while balancing the convenience to the payer with the risk to the merchant.

Market Pay's Fraud Risk Management & Payment Conversion Solutions are highly sophisticated applications that leverage a wide range of data to deliver optimum performance for their e-commerce clients. Together they form part of their core value proposition to their e-commerce clients. responsibilities
As the Solution Owner, you will define and communicate a clear vision for the fraud prevention product, developing a strategic roadmap that aligns with company goals and regulatory requirements. You will create and adapt anti-fraud rules to ensure they remain effective in a constantly evolving environment.
Managing the product backlog will be a core responsibility, where you will prioritize and maintain backlog items to ensure the development of valuable features. Writing clear and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria will be essential.

Other key responsibilities
- Stay informed about market trends, tools and competitor offerings in fraud and conversion solutions
- Perform client presentation and demos
- Consult clients on how to define optimum risk management and conversion policies for their specific business
- Facilitate client user groups to get their inputs on new developments
- Continually monitor and optimize business performance and outcomes for clients
- Create technical requirements for the application development team for continued development
- Accept and sign-off on new functions and features being delivered

qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need a deep understanding of fraud types, tactics, and prevention practices, coupled with strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and detect fraudulent patterns. Familiarity with fraud detection technologies, including AI and machine learning, is important.

- 3-5 years' experience or more in reducing the risk of online fraud in the e-commerce sector or in payment processing
- Experience of Visa and MasterCard risk management tools (including 3DSecure, AVS, etc.)
- Experience of alternative payment methods and their risks
- Preferably trained as a computer engineer or data management engineer
- Excellent social skills and ability to work with geographically remote and diverse teams
- Fluency in English
- Results-oriented
- Reactive and autonomous: you think fast and your experience enables you to make decisions in a fast-moving environment
