Global SAP Program Director
Carlsberg is launching a multi-year program to renew key business approaches and put in place the ERP platform to underpin our ambitious growth strategy. We are looking for a proven and senior program leader to represent our Integrated IT division (IIT) and lead the technical journey as part of a targeted business transformation.

Our Western Europe region operates on SAP ECC and our preferred direction would take us to SAP S/4HANA. As Senior Program Director, you will work alongside senior peers in our Finance, Supply Chain and Shared Services divisions to finalize the direction and manage the complex deliveries and large resource pool required.

What You’ll Be Doing
You will bring the thought leadership, strategic and detailed planning that ensure our ERP direction is clear, measurable and achievable. You will help the company understand best practices and orient to standard functionality wherever possible. In close partnership with colleagues across parallel disciplines, third-party providers and partners, you will drive delivery against agreed solutions, best practices and approaches.

You will provide direct and/or dotted-line matrix leadership to teams accountable for transforming and modernizing our ERP landscape. You will work with stakeholders in 9 European countries to identify, prioritize and drive successful implementation and balance complex dependencies.

You will regularly report status and advice to senior stakeholders up to C-level.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Program Leadership: Take the overall lead of IIT’s activities and stake in the multi-year business transformation program, including direct leadership of technical delivery through our selected system integrator and internal IIT team. Steer project management of the program and its sub-projects to ensure delivery to schedule, scope, budget and value.
• Governance: Participate in, and in some cases lead, key governance cadences including steering committees, financial tracking and decision review boards.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work in close alignment with peers in parallel business organizations and our chosen business integrator to set the context for the program and its sub-projects, ensuring clear, regular communication is maintained and that teams are working together to clear mutual goals.
• Engagement with Stakeholders: Build strong engagements and partnerships with business stakeholders from C-level and down to align solutions with business objectives and ensure successful execution.
• Strategy and Optimization: Determine the best approaches for developing and delivering required functionalities, balancing financial, architectural, and operational considerations within broader IIT and company strategies.

What we’re looking for

• Experience: 10+ years in leadership roles with direct or close involvement in ERP and major international systems and processes.
• Knowledge of our as-is platform SAP ECC and potential target platform SAP S/4HANA and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP.
• Leadership: the presence and judgment to lead a large team and complex program within a fast-paced and evolving multinational company, maintaining a strong team spirit and making the tough people decisions when required.
• Problem-Solving: Creative mindset and effectiveness in finding solutions to complex business issues.
• Communication: Exceptional communication and facilitation skills to influence stakeholders, galvanize teams and ensure effective program execution.
• Passion: A deep passion for technology and designing forward-thinking, sustainable solutions.

This position can be based at our Group Central Office in Copenhagen, or any European location providing you are ready to work effectively online and travel as required
