In this role you will be responsible for the effectiveness and efficiency of IT operations in accordance with established procedures to ensure high level customer satisfaction and stable and secure IT.

A tactical and operational role with major impact
We expect you to challenge processes and practices identifying opportunities for continuous improvements. You will navigate in a broad range of important stakeholders and build a close cooperation with both our Service Integration and Management team (SIAM), the IT Business Units and Solution Architects and of cause also with our outsourcing vendors.

You will be successful in the role when you:

• Facilitate the collaboration between the IT service owner, Business Units (BUs) and Suppliers on all infrastructure and security operations areas including Datacentre, Cloud and Network services.
• Support the Digital Workplace and Infrastructure Development department and BUs with technical improvement on all infrastructure areas.
• Drive the lifecycle planning for all infrastructure areas.
• Drive the operational control of supplier services including Security/Release Patching, Monitoring, Backup, Capacity and Financial Management on all infrastructure components and areas.
• Drive and ensure updated and regularly tested recovery plans of the company’s information systems.
• Drive and develop our IT Security day-to-day IT Operations together with our outsourcing partner and IT Security and BU’s.
• Take responsibility for your IT Infrastructure and Security team, which currently consists of three employees, and three additional positions which we are in the process of filling.

STARK IT Operations is still growing. For now, it consists of twenty-four highly skilled people delivering high impact decisions and solutions within three teams: IT Sourcing & Vendor Management, Service Integration & Management (SIAM) and finally Infrastructure & Security Operations which is your responsibility.

What you bring
You bring an international track record within IT Operations, IT Infrastructure, IT Technical Management, IT Infrastructure Architecture or similar. That means, you know IT Technology Service Management/Infrastructure incl. Cloud and Network and you know how to manage a good day to day IT operation incl. security in an international company with a multivendor outsourced setup. You will also have experience in people management.

Relevant experience could include:

• Documented experience of driving projects in an international organisation
• Experience with outsourced IT
• Experience with ITIL
