Infrastructure Delivery Manager

Join us in this role where you’ll be responsible for infrastructure capacity management and coordinating infrastructure component deployments and deliveries, while ensuring that the security and design standards are followed and documented in both our information technology service management (ITSM) and configuration management database (CMDB) systems. You’ll also work in close dialogue with the business to translate and realize their requirements for your deliveries.

You’ll be part of the Production IT Product Line where you, together with your colleagues, will work towards ensuring a secure, stable, and scalable infrastructure delivery for our production IT (OT) environment. As a team, we’re involved in building a sustainable green energy company with a diverse culture around the globe, whilst ensuring great cohesion and collaboration to provide a stable and secure IT infrastructure.
You’ll play an important role in:
- ensuring that ordering new or additional hardware for our many systems is handled in an accurate and timely manner
- coordinating server deployments, making sure all requirements are implemented end-to-end, incl. application deployment readiness, documentation, and handover to the business
- managing requests in our ITSM system and updating configuration in our CMDB
- continuously reviewing existing processes and improving on delivery process flows
- regular reporting and walkthroughs with infrastructure product line leadership on delivery progress and impediments.
To succeed in the role, you:
- have a general technical background, with knowledge of Windows and Linux servers, VMware vSphere, and vCentre Storage, and perhaps DB servers, incl. MS SQL, Oracle DB, or other SQL DBs
- have a good grasp of infrastructure management tools, deployment methods and perhaps also ServiceNow incident and service management, incl. CMDB
- have a basic understanding of code repositories and deployment platforms, e.g. Terraform, ARM, and Ansible, and are familiar with SAFe and working in an agile set-up
- perhaps have experience of, or have an ambition to learn how IT infrastructure is managed in regulated industries, e.g. food, utilities, life science, or financials (NERC, NIS, ISO62443 etc.)
- have strong communication skills, can express yourself fluently in English, and have an excellent customer mindset.
