Carlsberg's Western Europe region operates on SAP and we are planning the projects that underpin our multi-year business strategy, Accelerate Sail. As an SAP Functional Architect in IIT, you and your peers will responsible for developing and driving the roadmap and architecture for our SAP platform and investments in Western Europe, and the delivery of strategic programs to realize that roadmap, including the migration of SAP from ECC to S/4HANA, and a portfolio of ambitious innovations.

What You’ll Be Doing
You will bring the thought leadership, strategic and detailed planning that ensure our SAP direction is clear, measurable and achievable. You will help the company understand best practices and orient to standard functionality wherever possible. In close dialogue with IT Service Owners and Business Owners, you will advise on the best solutions and approaches.

You will provide dotted-line leadership to teams accountable for transforming and modernizing our ERP landscape. You will work with stakeholders in 9 European countries to identify, prioritize and drive successful implementations and upgrades.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Functional / Solution Architecture and Design: Creating SAP solutions tailored to specific business needs, ensuring the design's integrity from conception through implementation.
• Collaboration and Leadership: Working closely with system integrators in project settings to ensure our SAP solutions are integrated, follow best practices, and enhance the user experience.
• Engagement with Stakeholders: Partnering directly with business stakeholders to align SAP solutions with their objectives and ensure seamless execution.
• Strategy and Optimization: Determining the best approaches for developing and delivering required functionalities, balancing financial, architectural, and operational considerations.
• Documentation and Validation: Capture functional requirements in detailed documents and validate development estimates to ensure feasibility and alignment with business goals.
• Overseeing Development: Take ownership of the solution design, overseeing development to ensure it meets all business requirements.

What we’re looking for

• Experience: Proven track of experience in SAP functional solution design and delivery, with deep knowledge of SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA.
• Functional Expertise with SAP: in one or more of Finance, Financial Accounting & Controlling, Direct/Indirect Source to Pay, Manufacturing, Plant Maintenance, Warehouse Management, Transportation.
• Problem-Solving: Creative mindset and effectiveness in finding solutions to complex business issues, with a track record of designing sophisticated SAP solutions.
• Communication: Exceptional communication and facilitation skills to influence stakeholders and ensure smooth project execution.
• Collaboration: Ability to work independently and within a team, engaging both technical and non-technical staff to drive results.
• Adaptability: Willingness to learn, teach, and share knowledge with your team, while managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Passion: A deep passion for technology and designing forward-thinking, sustainable solutions.
