After a 30 % growth rate for 5 consecutive years, we are now expanding our Business Development (BD) team to keep pace with the growing demand and new business opportunities for our radiopharmaceutical Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) services.

Your role as Business Developer for CDMO projects
As our new Business Developer, you will be responsible for developing and driving sales within our CDMO through the development and delivery of complex integrated solutions to our customers. You will serve as the single point of contact for commercial, business, contracting discussions and ensure successful onboarding of projects into the CDMO.

This position requires strong technical, project management and communication skills and the ability to leverage your technical and industry expertise to identify and generate sales from existing and new customers.

In collaboration with BD and CDMO team members you will be part of setting the strategic direction for the development of our CDMO business area. You will report to our CEO, who is also the Head of Business Development.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Build and foster strong relationships with current and new collaborators and position our CDMO services effectively
  • Acquire new business by identifying, qualifying and vetting out opportunities
  • Follow up on opportunities, drive sales processes including preparation, pricing and review of proposals and contracts
  • Measure and communicate progress against monthly and quarterly targets via accurate and timely reporting and forecasting, and assist in establishing yearly sales budgets.
  • Continually seek new business segments to enter and support management with necessary justification.
  • Cultivate proactive relationships with teams across the organization to ensure strong integration between our R&D radiochemistry and CDMO services
  • Lead contract negotiations to promote project governance and supply.
  • Early-stage project management and effective onboarding of projects

Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree or PhD in Chemistry or related field is preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical industry or relevant field. Experience in CMC development and previous CDMO business and contracting acumen is preferred
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal in English) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate information appropriate the level of the audience
