Nevertheless, it’s rarely openly spoken about and it’s a disease that has a large impact on the quality of life of individuals, their families, and caregivers.
We are now looking for a passionate Laboratory Engineer to join our Incontinence (Inco) Laboratory, where we focus on continue to develop innovative solutions to help people manage incontinence and live a full, active life. Our Inco Laboratory is focused on a variety of products within the TENA range, from light incontinence through to heavy incontinence products. Our portfolio covers washable underwear and our innovative digital TENA SmartCare Change Indicator™. As a laboratory engineer you will represent our laboratories in many perspectives, be responsible for product testing, be part of innovation projects as well as supporting our business units.
About The Role
In your role as a Laboratory Engineer, you will be faced with various tasks, both practical and theoretical. We will enable you to further develop and strengthen your competencies such as project skills, method development and statistical analysis.
Some of your work responsibilities will include:
- Evaluate and give clear recommendations for new or existing product, pack and/or material performance as laboratory expert in innovation projects or other activities.
- Translate product properties to measurable parameters and select methods and procedures in the most efficient way.
- Develop, verify, and validate new laboratory methods to meet consumer and business needs.
- Maintain good knowledge about internal and external methods in own area.
- Participate in enabling projects and manage or participate in method development projects.
- Participate in change requested by Business Units such as value engineering and quality improvements.
- Evaluate competitor products within own area.
- Work according to procedures and instructions for health and safety, laboratory process and other relevant areas.

You are flexible when working on your projects, whether completing tasks on your own or in collaboration with others. Furthermore, you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and can drive activities to reach a goal. You want to be part of a team focused on innovating products that help break barriers in well-being.
- BSc/MSc in a relevant field or several years of experience working in a laboratory environment.
- Moderate statistical knowledge.
- Project management skills
- Good communication and documentation skills in English
