Software Developer CloudRAN - Tietoevry Create

Tietoevry is one of the leading companies within mobile communication development and Skellefteå is now expanding the Cloud RAN area with cloud-native software in the RAN. It will add more versatility to network buildouts and address a variety of 5G use cases.​

The project is about virtualization of the traffic control software of the radio access network and entails the migration from custom-built network nodes to Cloud Native network functionality on bare metal servers.

Who are you?
You have excellent skills in English, are experienced with agile way of working and have good skills in several of these areas:

o C/C++, GO, Python​

o AI/ML

o Microservices, Containers​

o OpenStack, OpenShift

o Linux

o SW Security​

o Continuous Integration/Deployment, Test Automation. SW testing

o Trouble Shooting

In your list of experiences and expertise, you qualify even more if you have an:

o Understanding or experience within Kubernetes ecosystem

o Experience with virtualization and cloud based solutions

Your educational background is M.Sc. / B.Sc in Computer Science, Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering or similar.

As a person with good communication skills, who enjoys working in a dynamic and global environment, you can both be a team player and work independently. You have a prestige less mindset, you share knowledge and ideas and put pride in finding the best solution for our customers’ challenges.
