Our departments incl. Consumer and Content Technology, Marketing and Channels Technology, Corporate Product Technology, Omnichannel Manufacturing and Product Engineering Technology, Infrastructure, Digital Security & Data Office.

We are looking to recruit 15+ student workers for this batch focusing more on backend engineering, data engineering, digital product design, digital consulting & product management and technical operations specialist.

As our student worker, you'll be an integral part of our Digital Technology teams, contributing to the development of a wide range of projects, including websites, digital platforms, new products, and essential architecture. Our Digital Technology team serves as the driving force behind our progress, shaping the digital landscape of the LEGO Group.

Do you have what it takes?
You are currently enrolled at either a university or a university college in Denmark. We welcome applications from students at the start of their studies, though we prefer you to have at least 1½ years remaining in your studies. While a relevant educational background is ideal, it’s not a requirement. If you live in Denmark, are eager to learn, and have a passion for technology, we’d love to hear from you!

Here are the roles we are hiring for this batch:

Backend Engineering/Full stack Engineering Student Worker
As a Backend Engineering student worker, you will contribute to developing software tools that enhance developer productivity and support business-critical applications. This includes full-stack development, with a focus on backend engineering, building APIs, web applications, and automation tools. You'll work closely with UX, Product Managers, and other engineers, leveraging technologies such as C#, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, ABAP, and Databricks, in cloud environments like AWS and Azure. Additionally, you'll help build data foundations for analytics, and support automation processes in manufacturing, gaining exposure to CI/CD, testing frameworks, and development tooling. Candidates should have an interest in backend development, with potential opportunities to contribute to frontend development as well.

Data Engineering Student Worker
In this batch we are hiring two data engineering student workers, you will contribute to building and optimizing data infrastructure that bridges commercial data from data science models into in-app experiences.

One role is designed for students who are passionate about both software development and data engineering, eager to apply their skills in a real-world environment. You will work closely with teams to ensure data flows efficiently through our systems, supporting analytics and insights initiatives by building a robust data foundation.

The other role is to support the Analytics and Insights team by leveraging tools like Databricks to create scalable data solutions, ensuring that data infrastructure enables deep business insights and efficient decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain data pipelines, ensuring smooth data flow across systems.
  • Support the development of a strong data foundation for analytics and insights.
  • Assist with ETL processes and ensure data quality for various stakeholders.

  • Python, Node.js, Typescript
  • AWS, Airflow, ETL, Databricks, Notebooks

Digital Product Design Student Worker
As a Digital Product Design student worker, you will assist in creating engaging, user-centered digital experiences from initial exploration through to implementation. You will be involved in core design activities, including user research, UI design, and prototyping, using tools such as Figma and Miro.

You’ll also be part of a thriving UX community of product designers, many of whom started as student workers, collaborating on projects aimed at enhancing the digital experiences of internal colleagues working in sales or factory roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • UI design, user research, and prototyping
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, other digital product designers in their squad, and Engineering teams
  • For our positions in Billund, you'll either support the design team within the manufacturing space creating digital tools for our internal users in our factories, or the design team within the partner space in creating digital tools for our internal sales colleagues.

Digital Consulting & Product Management Student Worker
As a student worker in Digital Consulting & Product Management, you will assist Infrastructure Product Managers by supporting a variety of tasks and gaining hands-on experience in product management. Responsibilities include drafting OKRs, creating strategy proposals, conducting customer research, and participating in meetings with internal stakeholders. This role provides a unique opportunity to shadow experienced product managers, helping to shape the digital infrastructure while learning the fundamentals of product management and consulting in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in drafting OKRs and strategy proposals
  • Support customer research and internal stakeholder meetings
  • Shadow Product Managers and gain practical insights into digital infrastructure management

Technical Operation Specialist Student Worker
As a Technical Operation Specialist student worker, you will support Corporate Product Technology teams and leaders, working on tasks related to Total Cost of Ownership, finance, purchasing, and technical program management. You will assist the Technical Program Management team in preparing and running team meetings, providing operational and administrative support. This role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the technical and financial aspects of product management while contributing to the smooth execution of team operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support tasks related to Total Cost of Ownership, finance, and purchasing
  • Assist with technical program management and team meeting preparation
  • Collaborate with Corporate Product Technology teams and leaders
