Our departments incl. Consumer and Content Technology, Marketing and Channels Technology, Corporate Product Technology, Omnichannel Manufacturing and Product Engineering Technology, Infrastructure, Digital Security & Data Office.

We are looking to recruit 10+ student workers for this batch in Copenhagen focusing more on frontend engineering, backend/full stack engineering, digital product design and agile coaching.

As our student worker, you'll be an integral part of our Digital Technology teams, contributing to the development of a wide range of projects, including websites, digital platforms, new products, and essential architecture. Our Digital Technology team serves as the driving force behind our progress, shaping the digital landscape of the LEGO Group.

Do you have what it takes?
You are currently enrolled at either a university or a university college in Denmark. We welcome applications from students at the start of their studies, though we prefer you to have at least 1½ years remaining in your studies. While a relevant educational background is ideal, it’s not a requirement. If you live in Denmark, are eager to learn, and have a passion for technology, we’d love to hear from you!

Here are the roles we are hiring for this batch:

Backend Engineering / Full Stack Student Worker
We build the tools that our designers use to create the iconic LEGO® products. As a Backend Engineering or full stack student worker, you’ll help develop one of these tools, ensuring we can create, connect, and enhance all the data to make it readily available for our designers. We’re seeking a student eager to learn and with ambitions to become a great software engineer.

You'll have the chance to work on developer advocacy, manage developer communities, and build scalable, secure services alongside UX designers and engineers. Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., C#, TypeScript, NodeJS, Golang) is essential, along with strong writing and communication skills to educate and engage a diverse audience. Experience with DevRel and creating high-quality technical content is also a plus. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with multiple product teams to contribute to automated testing, trying out various programming languages and exploring functional, contract, and load testing.

Front End Engineering Student Worker
Join a dynamic team creating exciting new digital experiences for kids! As a Front-End Engineering student worker, you’ll work with React Native and TypeScript developers to build innovative features for LEGO® Play app. You’ll gain hands-on experience in mobile app development, working in an agile environment, and applying best practices in software development. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with experienced developers and contribute to the creation of engaging, high-quality digital products for a global audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop mobile app features using React Native and TypeScript
  • Collaborate with experienced developers in an agile environment
  • Apply software development best practices in mobile app development

Digital Product Design Student Worker
We are seeking a motivated student worker specializing in IT & Communication, with a focus on product or service design. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our product team and designers, facilitating workshops and managing the preparation and documentation before and after each session. Your contributions will help shape user-centered design processes and enhance team collaboration. Experience with implementing complex internal systems, such as product information management (PIM) or content management systems (CMS), is highly valued and will give you a head start in this dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product teams and designers
  • Facilitate workshops and manage session preparation/documentation
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of internal systems (PIM, CMS)

Agile Coaching Student Worker
As an Agile Coaching student worker, you will help increase the flow and efficiency of product teams by identifying and facilitating the removal of impediments. You'll engage directly with product teams and the broader organization, teaching and mentoring them in agile methodologies and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role provides a unique opportunity to learn agile coaching techniques and actively contribute to the development of high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with product teams to identify and address impediments
  • Facilitate continuous improvement through agile practices
  • Mentor and support teams in adopting agile methodologies
