Responsibilities:
- Overall management and development of the global Static Sealing Solutions Procurement setup to meet annual financial and strategic targets.
- Coaching and mentoring of staff in local locations.
- Development and implementation of a global Static Sealing Solutions Procurement strategy that supports global as well as regional requirements and needs.
- Continuous optimization of processes and KPIs (OTD, availability, lead time from suppliers, quality- and risk management).
- Collaborate with Static Sealing Solutions management to continuously evaluate supplier performance and ensure optimal global supplier footprint.
- Work closely with Q/HSE in the supplier development and approval process.
- Continuously improve efficiency in procurement using Lean methods (e.g. forecasting, purchasing and approval processes).
- Represent Static Sealing Solutions and collaborate with EagleBurgmann Global Procurement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience and management of a multicultural team.
- Relevant academic education and continuous training/upskilling in procurement areas.
- Broad and comprehensive understanding of procurement concepts and principles as well as in-depth experience using basic and advanced procurement tools
- Good communication and diplomatic skills that can be used in both leadership and negotiation situations.
- Strong project management skills.
- Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Innovative, self-motivating and result oriented personality/behavioral profile.
- Team player with good leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Very good English skills (verbally/written), other languages are a plus
