Senior HSE Specialist

Your Position
As a Senior HSE Specialist, you will be a very important sparring partner for both our yard here in Esbjerg but also to be part of the Global HSEQ department. In this role, you will drive safe project execution and contribute to increasing safety awareness. You will work closely with our skilled colleagues in the HSEQ team and report directly to our HSEQ Director, Dorthe Ulsø.

Your tasks and responsibilities
The position enhance close involvement with personnel at the yard and the HSE specialist will be able to continuously provide feedback on HSE initiatives, and spot new HSE solutions. You will have daily interaction and communication regarding HSE execution and improvements with internal and external partners

Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

• Set up preventive activities on basis of data, input, and other information
• Reporting of HSE data and other project data on a regular basis
• Communication of HSE initiatives with personnel at the yard
• Communication and coordination of HSE initiatives according to approved HSE plan
• Coordinate the HSE work in close corporation with the client
• Participation in risk analysis and investigations

Your profile and qualifications
You thrive on taking responsibility and are proactive by nature. You enjoy engaging with both internal and external stakeholders and are comfortable handling tasks behind the computer. You are service-minded and have the courage to challenge the status quo. As a team player, you bring great energy and humor to ensure strong collaboration.

To succeed in this position, we expect that you have:

• Min. 5 years of experience from a similar position within HSE - preferably with a technical background
• You have safety coaching skills and know when to apply these to improve performance
• You are familiar with risk assessment and accident investigation, key safety legislation/regulations and process safety management
• Good communication skills in writing and speech both Danish and English (Danish is a prerequisite)
• Experience in Microsoft Office
