Senior UX Designer - Developer Platforms

LEGO Koncernen

Job Description
Come and play as a User Experience (UX) Designer within the Developer Experience (DX) area. This position plays a vital role in crafting the direction of the DX, particularly regarding the internal "Developer Portal". Investigating and evaluating concepts to guarantee that our internal portals are user-friendly and improving efficiency.

Core Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced UX Designer to join our team as the sole UX advocate within the DX area. This role will work across multiple teams. Serving as the voice of the user to ensure our platform delivers a seamless and engaging experience. Our efforts will empower developers to perform their tasks more efficiently, and with greater happiness.

The main responsibility will be to ensure that various products and services serve the users’ needs by bringing in user insights in the creation of solutions.

  • Take full ownership of the end-to-end design process for developer-facing products, from initial concept and research through to final implementation and iteration.
  • Build and test prototypes to validate design concepts and improve user experiences.
  • Design and optimize information architecture and navigation systems tailored to developer needs, making sure that documentation, APIs, and tools are easy to find and use.
  • Collaborate with UX researchers and product managers to plan and conduct product discovery and research.
  • Help to foster and grow UX maturity within the domain, refining and improving user experience.
