About the role
At Maersk Logistics & Services (L&S), we are part of the Maersk Group, working closely with our global teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. With L&S being a $13.9bn business, our segment has experienced significant growth, doubling its size in the past four years with multiple acquisitions. This growth presents exciting opportunities for finance professionals to expand their skillset and contribute to our continued success.
We are looking for a Compliance and Reporting Manager to join our dynamic Accounting team. This role will report directly to the Head of Accounting for the L&S Segment and will support Group Accounting & Reporting with responsibilities extending across the Maersk Group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide IFRS-advisory services to the global accounting community and business functions.
- Ensure financial reporting compliance with IFRS.
- Control the monthly reporting for our regions, areas, and entities.
- Responsible for consolidated external reporting.
- Support preparation of A.P. Moller Maersk’s group external quarterly and annual reports.
- Oversee integration work for acquisitions.
- Deliver key reports to management.
- Continuously improve reporting and control processes, including developing accounting policies for Maersk Group and the L&S Segment.
- Collaborate closely with the Maersk Global Service Centre and other finance departments such as Tax, M&A, Treasury, and Risk & Controls.
- Liaise with external auditors and manage audit deliverables.
What are we looking for
- Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance with a professional accounting qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, auditing, or accounting at a multinational company or consultancy firm.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS.
- Experience with financial systems like OneStream/HFM is an advantage but not essential.
- Strong ability to prioritize and meet tight reporting and project deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluent in English (Danish is not required).
- Ability to work independently and drive progress in a fast-paced environment.
