Job Description
The Nordic Business Administration Specialist is supporting our Livestock Business Unit (Swine, Ruminants and Poultry – %split 40-40-20). The role plays a pivotal role and will be working in close collaboration with the three species leads and their Sales Teams. The role is reporting to the Nordic Business Support and Compliance Lead in Denmark and essentially supports in the management of customer-facing activities in all four Nordic countries. The position can be based in any Nordic country.
The role is for procurement processes, administration and controlling the promotion budget and the accrual processes in close collaboration with Species Sales Leads.
This role will be managing larger customer events and ensuring that we stay compliant through all faces of the planning including managing documentation requirements in relation to customer facing activities i.e., congresses, fairs, events, smaller customer meetings and business development projects.
The role will support in the maintenance and creation of a wide variety of sales support tools and materials. The role will be managing the promotional material approvals and ensure that procedures are followed in a compliant way for both new and existing materials including managing relationships with our vendors for graphic design and printing agencies of smaller sales items. As we operate in all four Nordic countries, the role will play a key role in coordinating sales activities and materials across the four markets and ensuring we create as many synergies as possible.
The role will be responsible for continuously optimizing working procedures and processes through automation and streamlining in collaboration with the Business Support team.
In this central role, you will be interacting with a wide range of stakeholders in the Nordic organization, primarily our Sales teams, Marketing team and your colleagues in the Business Support & Compliance team. To succeed in the role, you must be able to manage multiple projects, tasks, and stakeholders simultaneously in order to ensure progression and timely execution.
Requirements:
- Holds as a minimum a bachelor’s degree in business administration or its equivalent.
- Prior experience as a sales business administrative, trade marketer, office manager or similar
- Experience or affinity from the pharmaceutical or animal health industry is a plus.
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Drive for results
- Be highly structured, organized, and efficient.
- Thrive in an executional role, where getting things done drives personal motivation and satisfaction.
- Excellent in business administration, budget control and accruals
- Experience with SAP and Veeva PromoMats is a clear advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in at least one Nordic language plus fluent English
- Agile and change ready mindset.
- Good collaboration and teamworking skills and the ability to work alone.
- Strong planning, execution, and completion skills
- Ability to pinpoint opportunities to develop the business.
- Possess a data- and commercially driven mindset.
- Excellent skills in Office programs
