About the job
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in GomSpace and the Products sales team by managing and overseeing the largest accounts. Gomspace delivers cutting-edge satellite technology, and you will be building and maintaining relationships with senior decision-makers in the space industry, and lead partnership development efforts.
A significant aspect of your role as a Key Account Manager will be to develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive growth within key accounts. Building partnerships and relationships is important in order to succeed. Sales business may span extended periods, making your ability to see through the noise and keep the momentum an important part of the journey, where you along the way will provide tailored solutions and insights that address the customer’s unique needs.
Your key responsibilities will encompass:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plans
- Build and maintain relationships
- Driving agreements and contract negotiations with new and existing clients.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients,
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of products and services.
- Actively listen to client needs, identify opportunities for growth, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
- Understand customers business, organization and structure to enable their success
Your profile
We are looking for an experienced outgoing Key Account Manager, who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment. It is a plus if you have space experience. To succeed in this role, you excel in networking and building connections with key stakeholders, and you are an active listener with a consultative sales approach. You are a well-spoken, dynamic and helpful individual, who finds it motivating to help other team members to grow by learning from you.
In terms of experience and education, your educational background can be many. More importantly, you should have years of experience in sales within a technical and project-based setting, making you familiar with the processes and workflows of such an organization. Partnership development, agreements, and contract negotiations is elements you have years of experience with. Travel to meet clients, attend industry events, and ensure continuous relationship development, you see as a natural part in order to succeed in the job.
