Role Summary
As a Sales Manager/Account Manager for industrial customers in Asia (China), you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients and budget. You will focus on maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing customers while actively pursuing new business opportunities within the industrial sales sector of high-quality seafood products. Royal Greenland is currently actively exploring opportunities in South Korea and Vietnam. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with our customer service & export team, who will handle the with order processing supported by our office in Poland. The role will be based in our office in Svenstrup and reports to the EVP Sales.
Key responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management:
· Manage and nurture relationships with existing industrial customers in Asia, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for all customer-related inquiries and issues.
Business Development:
· Identify, target, and acquire new customers within the industrial sector, expanding our market presence in Asia, primarily in China, South Korea and Vietnam.
· Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve growth objectives.
Budget and Performance Management:
· Take full responsibility for your own budget, including setting sales targets, tracking performance, and reporting on financial outcomes.
· Monitor market trends and customer needs to adjust strategies accordingly.
Collaboration and Support:
· Work closely with the customer service support team and administrative back office to ensure seamless operations.
· Coordinate with the Order-to-Cash team, which is managed from our office in Poland, to ensure efficient order processing and financial transactions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong knowledge of the Asian market (China experience is a pre requisite) and
- At least 5+ years of experience in B2B sales to industrial customers preferably within the seafood industry or a related field.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and achieve sales targets in a dynamic market environment.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional Asian languages is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
