If so, you might be the candidate we are seeking on behalf of our client, Rochester Cable, a fully owned subsidiary of Hexatronic Group.
As Rochester Cable's Field Sales Manager for Oil & Gas, you will step into a newly established position, focusing on developing relationships with OEMs and operators, primarily Offshore Drilling and Remote Operating Vehicle markets.

Responsibilities and tasks:
Your main responsibility as Field Sales Manager is to generate contact leads, with a significant portion of the daily activities spent engaging with customers.
Your primary tasks will be to:
- Actively manage and support customer accounts as the key interface with a range of Oil & Gas accounts across markets including, but not limited to Wireline, MUX drilling and ROV.
- Ensure program timing is met by clearly understanding and meeting customer requirements and due dates, while effectively managing internal actions to ensure timelines are met.
- Develop and implement successful strategies for the assigned accounts to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Build and maintain relationships at multiple levels within the customer base to position Rochester Cable as a strategic partner.
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitive activity while identifying new opportunities for Rochester Cable, both directly and through the Hexatronic Harsh Environment Group.
- Identify opportunities to expand the product portfolio for Rochester Cable and the wider Hexatronic business, enhancing the market segment strategies.
- Provide and maintain an accurate forecast for the assigned territory, focusing on growing the business faster than the market.
Qualifications and mindset
To succeed in this position, you must have experience with complex technical sales.
Additionally, the following requirements are essential:
- Please note: This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). As such, applicants must be a U.S. person, defined as a citizen, national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.
- Minimum 5-7 years sales or directly related experience in the Oil & Gas Industry ideally within a segment utilizing working cables.
- Proven skills in the development and implementation of strategies supporting customers and products in alignment with an overall business plan.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions and businesses; as well as ability to influence outcomes in line with business objectives.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
