Senior Solution Architect – CREO and Windchill PDMLink

Then you might be our new Senior Solution Architect!

Your challenges
As our new Senior Solution Architect, you will be an integral part of the Product Lifecycle Management team, which is based in Østbirk and Hørsholm. You will report to the Director of Product Lifecycle Management and become part of our team of 14 colleagues that are part of the Technology and Modularisation department, which is part of VELUX Innovation Center. You will be employed at our Østbirk location, and from 2025 we are moving to our newly built Innovation House (in Østbirk), bringing 500+ VELUX employees closer together to further lift our ability to innovate and build capabilities in product innovation within daylight and fresh air.

In our department we have an architect for our PLM system and each of our CAD applications, a Lead Architect, a PLM Trainer in Windchill RV&S, a PLM Operations Lead, 2 Project Managers, an Agile Coach, and 3 student assistants.

Your daily contact will be with a team that consists of a Windchill PDMLink Senior Solution Architect, a Lead Solution Architect for Creo, PLM Operations Lead and our offshore PLM Operations Team.

In our team, topics are discussed in a casual tone and with a high degree of interaction between you and your colleagues, and we highly appreciate and support a collaborative environment.

As our new Senior Solution Architect, you will

• Drive continuous improvements to Windchill PDMLink and Creo through upgrades, releases and projects.
  
• Ensure robust system architecture and technical documentation in Azure Devops.
  
• Capture and mature business needs, rationale and business benefits on User Stories and create technical solution in cooperation with PLM Operations Team.
  
• Provide level 3 support and provide with expert knowledge sharing to PLM Users.
  
• Act as lead on training initiatives / defining new training modules for Windchill PDMLink and Creo as well as perform f2f and online trainings for users.
  
• Have the overall responsibility for maintaining Windchill PDMLink and Creo training material (updating training videos to reflect changes in functionality and processes).
  
• Author and deliver training material for Windchill PDMLink and Creo (training videos, training slides, FAQs, cheat sheets & classroom training).
  
• Ensure training information on our Windchill PDMLink & Creo support site is accurate, and up-to-date (in collaboration with PLM Operations Lead).
  
• Promote / Advertise Windchill PDMLink & Creo to business stakeholders – improve adoption/user satisfaction/user confidence.

You should expect 5-10 travel days within Denmark (typically to our Skjern office) per year.

Your qualifications
It is essential and required that you

• Bring a technical background (working experience and technical insight) in Windchill PDMLink and Creo e.g. from roles as Solution Architect or Senior Specialist.
• Have strong coordination and communication skills to transform wishes from the business to a technical solution (not only making a technical solution, but making a technical solution that works for the business in best possible way).
• Are motivated by deep diving in and investigating the technical aspects of Windchill PDMLink and Creo and their integration
• Are an Architect with the desire to teach our growing number of users
• Speak and write English proficiently.

It is seen as a benefit if you

• Have experience working in Agile Operations setup (e.g. Azure DevOps).
• Have experience with creation of training videos and interactive training material.
• Have good Danish language skills.
