We are on the lookout for a Chapter Lead Frontend Developer to lead and inspire a talented team of front-end developers while also staying hands-on in the code. Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a chapter of frontend developers across 6 product teams, fostering their growth and ensuring high performance through technical guidance and coaching
  • Technical Contribution: Actively participate in frontend development, utilizing Angular to build responsive, mobile-optimized applications
  • Project Management: Oversee project delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines and best practices while collaborating with backend developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers
  • Agile Practices: Champion agile methodologies such as SCRUM, ensuring efficient sprint planning, continuous integration, and timely delivery of projects
  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of code quality through rigorous code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field along with 5 years of experience in frontend development, with deep expertise in Angular
  • Extensive experience in modern frontend development principles and frameworks
  • Proven leadership experience, including mentoring and developing a team or the aspiration to become a leader alongside being a Frontend Developer
  • Experience working with composable architectures and headless CMS solutions is a very big plus
  • Experience in building responsive and mobile-optimized applications
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality projects in an agile environment
  • Experience with code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD practices

Competencies

  • Fluent in English
  • Familiarity with backend technologies and integration using RESTful and GraphQL APIs
  • Good knowledge of UX/UI design principles
  • Proficiency with version control systems like Git
  • Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure
  • Deep understanding of software development methodologies and Agile/Scrum processes
  • Experience working closely with a Product Lead to ensure alignment with product vision and strategy is good to have
