Store Design Planning Manager

Store Design Planning Manager City: Copenhagen V Country/Region: DK Application Deadline: 31/10/2024 As the Store Design Planning Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the design of our retail spaces globally. You will manage a team of design associates who develop stores from the initial 2D layouts through 3D and technical drawings. You and the team will use the store concept guidelines and tiering program provided by the Concept Development team to plan and deliver world class store concepts that inspire and drive brand desirablity, while also providing solutions that take an individual design approach within the conceptual framework.

You will be the global store planning lead for several of our regional offices, representing Pandora’s brand vison - balancing commercial and marketing considerations.
You are a strong communicator and will build partnerships with our regional store planning teams, to identify synergies with Global leadership and the Markets to create new ways of working. An ambition to improve processes and seek excellence in all deliverables, with a keen eye for details, accuracy and efficiency is a must. We balance global design, budget and local requirements when planning stores and maintain a high level of satisfaction in our regional markets through a clear, transparent, and collaborative approach.

You will report to the Director of Store Planning and collaborate with other Store Planning managers, the Concept Development team, Operations team and our Creative Studio for Visual Merchandising and communication.

Key Accountabilities;

Store Planning & Design:

• Drive brand desirability and store design excellence by infusing a greater level of creativity into store layouts, while maintaining a commercial perspective
• Implement store concepts in a global retail-rollout capacity, in a fast paced and dynamic setting
• Lead and partner with Store Planning teams in the markets to ensure consistent execution of global concepts
• Identify efficiencies and opportunities to improve processes and collaboration across markets
• Project manage and design stores

Team Leadership:

• Managing people and teams to thrive and grow in a fast-paced environment
• You have a positive and flexible mindset, and bring enthusiasm to your store planning role
• Develop talent and a talent pipeline and empower individuals, whilst working in a collaborative team setting
• Motivate and lead with a coaching mindset
• Team planning and strategy as needed in a dynamic environment

Qualifications and Experience:

• 6 – 10 years of Retail design experience, preferably with global brand(s)
• Experience or knowledge of commercial Marketing a plus
• Experience with change management and stakeholder management
• A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design
• Experienced user of Revit, Autocad, Microsoft and Adobe platforms
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal
