To ensure that our construction projects comply with local and national fire safety codes and standards, we are looking for a Fire Safety Specialist to join our team. We are 30-40 fire safety engineers working alongside our customers on some of Denmark's most significant projects within fire engineering. And we are thrilled to have contributed to projects like the 80,000 m² extension of CPH Kastrup Airport, the new headquarters for Danske Bank at Postgrunden, the new domicile for Chr. Hansen concern, and the upcoming Energy Park Megaton in Jutland.

Our goal is to be the best team of fire safety specialists in Denmark, Greenland, Iceland, and beyond. Your key responsibilities will be:
- Fire safety consulting within various sectors, such as industry (Power-to-X projects, pharma, etc.), airports, hospitals, office buildings, etc.
- Designing fire safety solutions for complex buildings in close cooperation with experienced fire safety specialists and in cross-discipline coordination with COWI's skilled engineers
- Conducting fire safety risk assessments, calculations, and dimensioning, including CFD and evacuation simulations
- Developing or leading your own speciality within fire safety to contribute to a highly specialized fire safety department within COWI
- Maintaining and developing a high professional level through education and challenging projects supported by experienced fire safety engineers.

On top of that, you will have:
- A master’s degree in fire safety or certification as BK3-4 or BK third-party control
- Experience with fire safety consulting in Denmark
- Good knowledge of Danish and national fire safety codes and standards
- Experience with IT tools such as Revit, Pathfinder, or Pyrosim
- Proficiency in one of the Scandinavian languages, as well as English.
