Position overview:
As QA Engineer you are responsible for QA. You participate in the design phase with a manufacturing perspective, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful execution of skid-based system projects from concept to completion.
You will join the technical team (9 persons) consisting of mechanical and chemical engineers as well as other technically educated profiles. Manufacturing takes place at collaboration partners/workshops around the world. The place of work is Odense.
Further key responsibilities and tasks include:
- Conduct inspections and quality control checks on components and assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Inspection and test plan for manufacturing and equipment
- Communication directly with clients QA department to guarantee compliance with their expectations. and test plan for manufacturing and equipment
- Quality assurance of manufacturing documents (isometrics, structural steel drawings and BOM)
You coordinate with other team members to ensure quality assurance for all project related work incl. instrumentation, electrical, mechanical, project managers and procurement. You collaborate with sub manufacturers, and you have the day-to-day contact to support progress and to oversee the production of skid-based systems. You manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that production timelines and project deliveries are met
You provide technical support during the fabrication and assembly phases, addressing any design-related issues, prepare and maintain project documentation as well as you conduct inspections and quality control of external workshops. In addition you are planning and executing preliminary inspections and final acceptance test with all sub vendors and do qualification of new sub vendors.
About you:
A QA profile with minimum +3 years of experience in mechanical fabrication, preferably with skid-based systems. You have a Bachelor´s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering or a related field.
Further provied skills:
- Experience in quality processes, NDT for piping and structural steel.
- Knowledge of the production of piping systems and structural steel.
- Experience with manufacturing processes, welding, piping, assembly techniques. Basic knowledge of ASME and EN codes for piping and structural steel.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Basic knowledge of reading and understanding P&IDs + knowledge of surface treatment for steel components.

You are the person with a positive attitude, who, based on your strong communication and interpersonal skills, can contribute to ensuring progress and “flow” in the projects. You have the ability to manage multiple projects, you are fluent in English (both in verbal and in writing) and you are willing to travel up to 20-30 days a year.
