GLOBAL PR AND COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

We are looking for a PR and Communications Manager to develop and drive our global public relations strategy to ensure our brands have a consistent and cohesive voice and experience for across all internal and external PR, communications, partnerships and global event initiatives.

This position is based in Stockholm, Copenhagen or Helsinki and reports to our Senior Brand Marketing Manager. The role is full-time and hybrid.

WHAT YOU’LL DO AT IITTALA AND ARABIA
Responsibilities:

• Develop and drive global PR strategy and create PR plans and toolkits that meet market needs and brand strategy.
• Own PR process: communication of PR strategy, plan, process and deliverables to key stakeholders.
• Develop the annual and seasonal PR plan (print/digital) and manage the budget.
• Develop PR toolkit and guidelines that help us go to market globally and locally – following objectives and PR content creation.
• According to the commercial calendar, create new ways to generate exposure and excitement around the brand.
• Global PR events (as example Milan Design Week)
• Lead and develop relationships to key media and influencers, take ownership on Iittala’s presence in earned media.
• Select and manage media connections/partnership/KOL (incl. influencers), while ensuring partners are in line with brand DNA.
• Corporate PR and issue management.

WHO YOU ARE
Experience:

• Minimum 4 years’ work experience in PR and marketing communications.
• Design and luxury retail industry experience is preferred.
• Strong relationship with media/KOL/stylists’/ management within the industry.
• Strong understanding of cultural trends worldwide and in Europe.
• Curious to know what’s going on the industry.
• Fluency in written and spoken English language, Finnish, Swedish, German or Japanese language is an advantage.
• Strong cross-functional team player.
• Proactive problem-solving with a can-do attitude.
• Excellent planning, and organization skills with a drive to meet tight deadlines and budgets.
