Responsibilities
As our new QA Specialist colleague, your primary tasks will include:
- Setting the quality direction and supporting validation activities.
- Handle larger and more complex quality issues
- Ensure a high-quality culture and drive improvement activities across areas
- Represent QA DS in cross-organizational groups in Bavarian-Nordic
In addition to these core tasks, you will also be responsible for duties that are indirectly related to the above-mentioned activities, contributing to the overall quality assurance processes within the department.

Competencies
To succeed in this role, you will need the following competencies:
- +5 years of experience (Preferably in QA) within the pharmaceutical industry, preferably within a production.
- Broad knowledge of pharmaceutical processes and industry standards.
- A relevant educational background, such as a pharmacist, or similar with industry-specific qualifications.
- Fluent in English.
Our QA team and department
You will be part of a competent and supportive QA Drug Substance team, reporting to the QA Manager, Ahmad Mahmoud. The team has four members and will expand to five once this position is filled. Your colleagues bring a range of experience, some with several years of expertise while others are newer to the team, creating a well-balanced and diverse mix of skills and knowledge. The team works closely together, supporting each other across tasks and projects to ensure smooth operations and continuous learning.
You will join a growing QA Operations department with 40 employees, spread across teams based in both Kvistgaard, Denmark, and Munich, Germany.
