About the role
We are seeking a talented UX lead/product designer to join Danfoss dynamic team, where you will play a pivotal role in developing a cutting-edge cloud-based digital SaaS product for district heating utilities.

Your department will be Digital Services in Danfoss Climate Solutions, where focusing on a portfolio of digital services dedicated to help their customers in various industries in reducing their carbon footprint, improving their energy efficiency, or avoiding food loss. You will join a diverse and committed team of software and digital services professionals, and a team with an open and inclusive culture with plenty of opportunities to learn new things. As a UX lead at Danfoss, you will play a pivotal role in developing a future cloud-based digital SaaS product. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will leverage your expertise in UX and product design to lead the product design and product discovery activities for one of their digital solutions. Your responsibilities will include conducting customer interviews, developing prototypes, and ensuring compliance with regulations while integrating security measures into the design process.

Work tasks

• Engage in customer interviews to understand end-user needs and pain points
• Develop prototypes and iterate based on user feedback to create intuitive interfaces
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Ensure compliance with regulations and integrate security measures into the design process
• Prioritize customer-centric design and foster trust and loyalty through superior user experiences
• Utilize Agile and Lean UX methodologies for iterative design and continuous improvement

We are looking for

• Proven experience in regulatory compliance and security-sensitive enterprise SaaS product design
• Advanced proficiency in designing for data-intensive applications and scalable UX solutions
• Hands-on experience in product discovery, prototyping, and customer demos
• Experience with B2B-markets
• Familiarity with persona-based design approach
• Agility in design process and customer-centric design and development mindset
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and work collaboratively with tech teams, front-end developers, and product management to explore and identify optimal solutions
• You are willing to travel to engage directly with customers and stakeholders to deepen understanding of user needs and foster strong collaborative relationships
• Proficient in written and spoken English at a fluent level

Knowledge can be gained through education, experience or self-taught.

It is meritorious if you have

• Comprehensive understanding of the utility/energy sector, such as but not limited to the electricity and gas trading market, the district utilities market and/or other comparable critical infrastructures including operational, regulatory, and customer service nuances.
