Actona Group A/S are seeking an experienced freight forwarder with expertise in overseas container transport and airfreight to be part of our dedicated logistics team.
About the job
As our new Freight Forwarder, you will be coordinating international shipments and will have close cooperation with our logistics teams in Poland, Lithuania and China.
Your workdays will vary, and you will be a contact person and service provider for both colleagues and customers. You will have a widespread contact with different transport providers to keep and obtain the best logistics set up possible. You will work with all steps in the freight processes from document handling, prices, analysis of the transport data to approving the freight invoices.
You should expect around 10 travel days a year, primarily for travelling to China to be with our logistics team that is part of our sourcing office on day-to-day basis.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Understand, handle and administrate the aspect of cross trade shipments sea and air.
- Handling and validating documentation related to transport.
- Understanding of incoterms.
- Customs clearance procedure.
- Claims handling
- Transport data processing in Excel
- Preparation of tender material and negotiation of smaller areas.

- Have an education as a Freight Forwarder with experience in overseas container transport.
- Understand all aspect of incoterms.

- Possess a proactive attitude.
- Be result oriented.
- Be fluent in English.
