Business Controller for Finance & Controlling – 1 year interim

The Finance & Controlling Team at Ferring provides accounting and controlling services to management in the site in Copenhagen and the Ferring Group.

The finance team consists of 8 people in total. You will be collaborating closely with a network of controllers in R&D sites across the globe.

Together with 2 colleagues, you will be responsible for providing high quality financial data and insights both on actuals as well as on forecasting of future activities in Product Development and other group functions.

Your day at Ferring As a Business Controller, you will act as business partner to management and project teams. You will use your experience by providing business controlling to the development departments to ensure accurate and complete monthly closing and ensure timely reporting and insights to management.

Besides this you will:

• Support functional leadership teams in providing guidance on their global consolidated financial performance
• Drive and coordinate the forecasting and budgeting process
• Perform reviews with the departments in order to strengthen the financial performance
• Support the project teams on their projects estimates in terms of costs, resources and timelines to ensure optimal allocation of funds by management.

While we encourage you to spend your workdays at our offices in in Kastrup, Copenhagen where we offer spectacular ocean views and state-of-the-art facilities. you can also work from home up to two days a week.

You will also need:

• Extensive experience in finance or controlling, preferably from the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry or from a project management organization
• Experienced in working internationally and with different cultures and possess a strong proficiency in the English language, both in writing and orally.
• A degree in Business Administration/Economics or similar.
