We have a rare opportunity where we are searching for a Deputy Chief Engineer to be a part of developing our next generation Offshore turbines. For this role we are looking for someone willing to step up and show their potential.
How to contribute to our vision
We are seeking an experienced Deputy Chief Engineer to join our innovative team. In this key role, you will share technical responsibility for new product development with the Program Chief Engineer. You will be recognized for your unique knowledge and experience, along with a deep understanding of customer needs. As the Deputy Chief Engineer, you will support and lead project technical activities and serve as the primary contact for technical input and clarifications across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Program Chief Engineer to oversee technical aspects of product development.
- Conduct design reviews, exercising technical authority to ensure project alignment.
- Interact with chief engineers across modules to ensure cohesive integration of engineering efforts.
What you need to make a difference
- Passion for Renewable Energy: A strong commitment to driving change in the renewable energy sector.
- Engineering Background: A degree in a relevant technical field, with a minimum of 5-6 years of applicable experience.
- Preferred Experience: While a background in electrical systems and design is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
- Judgment and Expertise: At this stage in your career, you should be adept at making informed decisions based on your experience and references. A comprehensive understanding of the technical aspects within the industry is essential.
- Industry Experience: Familiarity with the wind industry or experience in similar large-scale manufacturing environments is a plus.
- Pragmatic Approach: You should possess a realistic and practical mindset in your work, with the ability to effectively communicate with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to drive issues to resolution and make calculated decisions while assessing known risks.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is required.
