At KMD, you will play an important role in advising colleagues on how to ensure compliance with data protection legislation and thereby the protection of millions of data subjects.

You will be part of an ambitious team consisting of both lawyers and auditors, and you will cooperate closely with colleagues from both Group Legal, Group Security, Procurement and KMD’s many Business Units.

Examples of daily tasks could be:

• Advising colleagues and management on different data protection topics, such as the use of sub-processors, third-country transfers, privacy risks related to AI etc.
• Negotiation of contracts with customers and suppliers.
• Drafting guidelines, templates and recommendations.
• Carrying out internal inspections.
• Organizing training and awareness activities.

About you:

• You hold a law degree (cand.jur. or cand.merc.jur) and you have at least 5 years practical experience from working with data protection in either a large company or a law firm, and you are able to transform complex legal issues to widely accessible processes and templates for a broad range of users.
• You are analytical and able to quickly identify and mitigate data protection risks.
• You possess commercial awareness and know how to communicate legal issues to a variety of stakeholders.
• It will be an advantage if you have experience with negotiating contracts with both customers and suppliers and a solid knowledge of the delivery and business models of large cloud vendors.
