You will play a pivotal role transforming the way we work with and across marketing & sales in a global B2B company. Working with colleagues and stakeholders in sales and marketing from North America, Europe and Asia, you’ll be driving projects to define how we work with customers from F2F interactions to leveraging the power of digital tools, automation & AI. You will also be a part of establishing a stronger cross-functional collaboration across Marketing, Sales & Customer Service and setting common goals & KPIs.

Your future team
You will join a skilled team dedicated to transforming Marketing and Sales in ROCKWOOL by building a fully integrated end-to-end customer journey. Our diverse department consists of 20 colleagues from 10 different nationalities, divided into 3 smaller expert teams and 1 cross-functional team that combined supports the entire marketing and sales experience for our customers. You will be a part of the cross-functional Commercial Transformation team and will collaborate closely with all the expert teams to drive customer value across the customer journey.

What you will be doing
You will be responsible for driving, coordinating, and facilitating projects across our Marketing & Sales functions while optimizing our understanding of how we segment and engage with our customers.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Project Management: Manage and drive commercial excellence projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Process Optimization: Identify, map, analyse, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in commercial operations.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of commercial strategies and plans. Suggesting of goalsetting, KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, customer service, finance, and supply chain to ensure smooth project execution and alignment.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on the performance of commercial initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Data Analysis: Analyse commercial data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Change Management: Drive change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new processes and tools within the organization.

What you bring
Being comfortable and successful in this position we imagine you to have following experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree within Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant equivalent is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial excellence, marketing, sales, or a related field. Experience within B2B companies and/or construction industry is a plus.
  • Project & Portfolio Management Skills: Noteworthy track record of successfully delivering complex projects within the commercial field. In-depth understanding of project management methodologies and tools. Familiarity with working in a project portfolio-oriented approach.
  • Customer-Centric approach: Previous experience working with a customer-centric approach including experience with customer personas, customer segmentation, customer needs & customer journey mapping
  • Analytical Skills: You are data-driven, and a problem-solver combined with sharp analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication style. You enjoy presenting complex information in a clear and concise manner. Excellent presentation skills are most welcome!
  • Collaboration: Enthusiastic and ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. You are a natural facilitator with a knack for balancing taking input and driving agendas.
  • Technology Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel & PowerPoint) & project management software (e.g., JIRA, MS Projects). Familiarity with marketing & sales systems such as ad platforms, CMS, marketing automation software & CRM is a plus.
