Ready to lead a strong team and drive packaging performance at our successful dairy site that supplies markets across the world?

This is your chance to take a seat as part of a competent management team at our site in Kruså, near the German border. Here, you will play a key role in driving the performance in our packaging department while delivering your part of an efficient value stream of the 30,000 tonnes white cheese we produce, pack and distribute to our global markets every year.

About the job
As our Operations Manager in our packaging department, you will step into a position with a major impact at our packaging area counting more than 100 employees. You will have the overall responsibility in this area when it comes to ensuring a high performance in Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery accuracy, Motivation and Sustainability (SQCDMP).

Furthermore, you will as a part of the Site Leadership Team, be a pivotal part of setting direction for the entire site.

Immersing yourself into both strategical and tactical tasks, you will:

• Lead your team of 4 team leaders, specialist and more than 90+ skilled and engaged packaging operators.
• Drive continuous improvements in your area of responsibility
• Be responsible for the overall performance (SQCDMP) of the packaging area, including ‘Arla Foods Performance system’ – APS.
• Apply a strong and visible leadership in line with Our Culture
• Empower the team, ensuring full line- & area ownership
• Collaborate closely with many stakeholders across site and the entire organisation in Arla Foods

Who are you?
You have an open and visible leadership style where you engage your teams, envision the future - and deliver performance. You are able to drive a team oriented approach towards optimisations, while you keep an eye on the bigger picture. Also, you have a high level of self-motivation and you know how to overcome adversity when you face obstacles and setbacks. Passion for new technologies & digitalization – along with a highly developed sense of humour would all be great assets.

Moreover, you:

• Preferably bring some years of experience from a similar leadership position
• Are curious and challenge Status Quo by nature
• Understand the impact of role modelling from a leadership perspective
• Could have an academic/engineering background, with passion for business
• Know how to drive optimizations in a team-oriented manner
• Speak and write English and Danish effortlessly
