We are a global and sustainable engineering and consultancy company that delivers technology and business results to a variety of industries. We are currently experiencing growth within process and plant engineering and an increased demand from chemical processing, plant engineering, green energy, and medical / life science industries.
Therefore, we are looking for an experienced and skilled Senior Process Engineer, who will help strengthen our team.
You play a significant role in developing our business
As a Process Engineer at DIS/CREADIS, you will experience an independent job and a varied workday with professional challenges matching your competences. You will be involved in small and large development projects and will be responsible for project implementation in close dialogue with our customers across many industries. You solve the tasks individually or in teams, either from the office or as a consultant at the customer and always with the possibility of knowledge sharing with your colleagues.
With this job you can look forward to being challenged both professionally and personally and we are looking for a candidate qualified and motivated to take on following responsibilities:
- Identify concept and detailed solutions for process design for manufacturing and process facilities
- Lead a team of process engineers and support them in all aspects of the process design, continuously improving quality and resource utilization
- Develop and implement process solutions, based on customer specifications and requirements
- Design and review P&ID diagrams, technical descriptions, and equipment selections
- Perform process & hydraulic calculations
- Draft and review specification of process equipment and evaluate and challenge vendor proposals
- Take process responsibility for control strategy and commissioning of process utilities
- Use good engineering principles and apply process safety principles in the design of such a system
- Perform on-site inspections of designed systems (i.e., production lines, process equipment etc.)
With your strong technical foundation, you make things happen
You have a relevant bachelor or master’s degree in Process / Chemical Engineering combined and several years of experience from a similar position. It is also a prerequisite that you have following skills:
- Experience in the field of chemical / process plant engineering industry
- Experience in P&IDs design (using AutoCAD)
- Knowledge of I&C equipment
- Practical knowledge of ATEX will be an asset
- Experience in pneumatic transport issues will be an asset
- Hydrogen and/or Life Science industry related experience will be an asset
- Knowledge of Pipe Flow Software, Microsoft Visio, Engineering Base (Aucotec AG) will be an asset
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
