Due to increasing market demands, we are now expanding the software development team – part of our Global R&D, where first Jabra products for communication and music are born. And as we want to remain at the very forefront of the market, we reinvest more than 10% of our revenue in R&D every year. So, it is no coincidence that we keep setting trends.
What will you do?
Together with our great engineers located mainly in Poland and Denmark, you will develop and maintain Jabra’s new, comprehensive device management platform.
This means that depending on your knowledge, experience and skills, as well as the needs of our organization, you will be responsible for at least some of the following aspects:
- Design, implementation and testing of features/solutions,
- Code reviews,
- Creating documentation,
- Assisting in writing specifications,
- Participating in the evaluation and selection of new software technologies,
- Mentoring and supervision of less experienced developers and interns/trainees – and assisting them in learning and guiding them through it,
- Assisting in interfacing and negotiating with external consultants and supplier.
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you:
- Have expertise in developing cloud applications using .NET and C#,
- Have at least some experience with Angular and TypeScript, and a willingness to broaden your knowledge of these technologies,
- Know how to build microservices,
- Have experience with Azure DevOps,
- Have knowledge of Azure services like Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Application Insights,
- Are familiar with design patterns, understand the importance of well-structured code and know the value of good workflows,
- Recognize the importance of code quality and know how to improve it with tests,
- Combine an engineering mindset with craftsmanship and attention to detail,
- Stay up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends,
- Have good skills-born professionals with great communication and collaboration skills,
- Speak and write English fluently.
Experience with:
- Azure IoT Hub,
- Test automation (Selenium and Jest) and release pipelines.
will be your additional asset.
You most likely possess a relevant academic degree in computer science, electronics, telecommunications or similar, but it is not a prerequisite for this position.
