Do you have experience from procurement, textile brands or other private label manufacturers and thrive in a competitive environment where your own performance will lead the way for your career in an international setting, then the position as a Buyer of textiles in our company is a match. Trademark Textiles is a full-service textile manufacturer with HQ in Kolding, Southern Denmark approximately 50 minutes from the Danish/German border and with offices in the far east.
As a Buyer you will be responsible of procuring textile for selected customers and develop our supply chain. You will be involved in a wide range of activities across the company's value chain and will work closely together with sales, design, and your local Far East colleagues. The position includes frequent traveling to the Far East, mainly China and Bangladesh, where you will visit and work with our partners to ensure quality and timely deliveries. Traveling includes sourcing new partners as well as visiting the Lower Tier partners.

Your responsibilities:
- Ensuring smooth order flow and risk management of the supply chain for our customers.
- International negotiations with stakeholders and troubleshooting.
- Managing suppliers and developing our supply chain in accordance with the teams’ strategic goals.
- Developing products from the first ideas to final products.
- Coordinating production in all its aspects - negotiations, certifications, planning, quality assurance, shipping, invoicing.
- Sourcing new primary suppliers as well as evaluation of Tier 2 partners.
Your Profile:
- You can communicate fluently in English, both written and oral. It is also a plus if you can speak: Danish, German, Dutch/French, Polish or Spanish as we are looking for buyers to different teams.
- Have a relevant academic degree, Bachelor level or higher preferably in Business and/or Fashion.
- Previous work experience (+2 years) within procurement, not limited to be within textiles.
- We see it as a positive addition, if you have gained international experience during your past work, studies, or travels abroad.
- Good economic understanding, with a flair for numbers and calculations, and more than basic experience with Excel.
- It is expected that you travel 50 - 60 days per year.
- To be a team player and can work in a highly competitive industry.
Our international office located in Southern Denmark (Kolding) approximately 50 minutes from the Danish/German border. We can offer you a young and flexible working environment where the corporate language is English, thus Danish is not a necessity in the everyday. We support staying active with running days, volleyball after work or getting into the Christmas mood together with Danish traditions. Your time with us will start with an on-boarding program to make sure you get introduced to all aspects of your job and will be followed up by continuous sparring with your manager. If required, we can also help you in all practical aspects regarding re-location to Denmark.
