What your new job will be about
To support further growth, JYSK has decided to establish a new position as Head of Compensation & Benefits. Reporting to the EVP HR, you create and align the compensation & benefits strategy with JYSK strategy and ensure its implementation across the company.
You will play a pivotal role by ensuring that JYSK remains competitive in the market, attracts top talent, and fosters employee retention by shaping, implementing, and managing competitive and sustainable reward strategies across all JYSK markets and entities.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Develop and implement the company’s overall compensation and benefits strategy to ensure market competitiveness, fairness, and compliance with European labor laws.
- Evaluate and lead the design and administration of employee benefits programs to enhance employee engagement and wellbeing.
- Develop a comprehensive total rewards strategy that aligns with the JYSK’s culture and business goals, and integrate the strategies into talent management programs, including performance management and career development.
- Provide analytics and insights on compensations across JYSK, and in cooperation with finance oversee the compensation and benefits budget, ensuring effective cost management while meeting organizational objectives.
- Mentor and develop the HR and Finance professionals working with compensation and benefits across the countries, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and innovation with the local teams.
- Ensure that all compensation and benefits programs comply with local, regional, and EU labor laws, tax regulations, and corporate governance requirements
- Work closely with Executive Management Team to provide insights and recommendations on executive compensation and benefits and serve as a key advisor to JYSK Management Team on compensation matters
You will work closely with the Finance- and HR-teams in JYSK Head Office and country head offices.
You must expect approx. 20 travel days yearly.
What you need to bring
Besides a minimum of five years of experience within compensation and benefits, preferably with some years in a leadership or coordinating role within a retail or multinational environment, we are looking for a person with high power, energy, and drive for results.
Further, you hold a strong knowledge of European labor laws regarding compensation and benefits, and you demonstrate expertise in designing and managing compensation structures, incentive programs, and benefits schemes.
In addition, you will be described by the below mentioned characteristics:
- Curious, ambitious and literate strong individual with good structuring ability.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to take on responsibility, working independently and proactively with various subjects.
- Good leadership ability.
